A nice article about our research was recently published in the Scottsdale Republic (Friday, January 10, 2014). Featured were Easton White (now at University of Victoria on a Fulbright scholarship, a slight detour on his way to a PhD program at UC Davis, where he'll work with Alan Hastings), Joe Juliano (recently graduated from ASU, now at Northwestern University working with Kristen Swanson as he works out his plan for post-graduate study) and Scott Bickel, currently at ASU in the School of Life Sciences and the SOLUR program there. Also featured, at least in a photo, are Kody Holmes (currently at ASU), Sabrina Jones (also at ASU) and Chalet Taylor (SCC and ASU), who all work on the dispersal project (see photo).

Those interested in more details about the program may wish to take a look at the abstracts of the most recent presentations in the program's symposium, held every semester.

Thanks to Jonathan Higuera, SCC Communications Coordinator, for writing and submitting the article, and a special thanks to the Department of Life Sciences, Mathematics and Science Division and the SCC Administration for their unwavering support.
